Netforce Telecom Bill Audit Process
Step 1. Location List: Compile a list of all lines and their locations
from the customer. Also, collect copies of the most recent
month’s phone bill and phone company contracts. A signed
Letter of Agency will enable us to speak with the phone
company on the customer’s behalf.
Step 2. Check: Make certain the company is only billed for the lines
currently used at existing locations. Wherever the customer is
billed under a contract or term agreement, we will check the
billing against the contract to ensure accuracy.
Step 3. Verify: Ensure the accuracy of the billing for each line and
feature on the telecom bills.
Step 4. Request Records: CSRs (Customer Service Record) are
required to review the fees the customer is paying for their
telecom invoices.
Step 5. Research: Note each line, its identity and its usage.
Step 6. Review
Determine all possible tariffs regarding all lines
Step 7. Calculate: Compare the costs for LEC (local exchange
carrier) billed Long Distance with the current provider.
Step 8. Analyze: Calculate taxes and all monthly fees and usages
for accuracy.
Step 9. Identify: If any usage’s or fees billed but not ordered then
these items need to be addressed.
Step 10. Document: Record over billing and discrepancies. Place
orders or negotiate refunds or credits and follow through

Step 11. Process: Correctly placed orders or changes must be
written, checked and reviewed and submitted to correct
individual at carrier to cancel services, features and fees and
obtain credits when available.
Step 12. Obtain: Request copy of orders to monitor if correctly placed,
and check with actual order on invoice and credits received.
Step 13. Request: Receive from client or carrier an actual bill copy to
review before and after to verify complete accuracy.
Step 14. Invoice: Review before and after bills with client to document
savings obtained.
